new rotors

Mine needs replacing. Would oem rotors be better than rotors at autozone or napa? or where can i get those brembo blank rotors which everyone been talking about? I'm not looking for any cross drilled or slotted, just replacements that would last longer than the oem.

you have a 2002 and you need new rotors? how many miles do you have on your car? I find it hard to believe that you need new rotors....are they warped really bad? or what? if they are just grooved have you looked into having them "TURNED"?

if your car is just a daily driver...and you don't use it for auto crossing or that sort of thing...I would recommend you stick with stock rotors, as anything more would really be a waste of money. The stockers will do the job just fine.

got alot of grooves in them. got 40k on the meter now and i did a whole season of autocross last year. i got the groves cause i let the pads wear down too much cause i've been lazy. so now i guess i pay the price to replace the rotors. I think the stock ones held up fine but i don't know if there are better alternatives out there or not. thanks for your reply

Just having GROOVES in them is not really that bad....if they were warped...that is another matter.....before you go and replace them....I would take them off and have them checked...there may be PLENTY of life left in them....just have them turned. IF they come back and tell you that there isn't enough "meat" in them to turn them....THEN replace them.

if you are going to continue to do a lot of auto crossing....you may want to consider upgrading to bigger brakes...that is if they will fit inside the wheel/tire combo you are using for racing.

Its just a thought. Good Luck
