Question New Brake Fluid

My brake fluid is a little low for some reason, and I'm thinking that instead of topping it up, I'll just change it outright to something better. Are there any fluids out there I should look at? I know to stay away from the silicone-based ones, and anything lower than DOT3 or something... Any advice on what to go to?

Your brake fluid will drop as your brakes wear, this is normal. I would only change the fluid if it needs it. As for what kind of fluid well there all good go with what you like or your dealer recommends.

Different brands of brake fluid are NOT created equal and they're not necessarily "all good." You can get higher quality fluid for only a little more money than the cheap discount store crap. My brake fluid preferences may be found in the FAQ.
