mazdaspeed adjustable struts??

does anyone have these struts or know anything about them?
how many settings do they have?
corksport seems to be the only site I can find that sells them.
and from my understanding they are not the same as the ones on
the actual mazdaspeed protege

Jesse, do they fit the P5? I heard they only worked on the sedan or something, I can't remember. All the suspension components are uniform across the 3rd gens right?

Also, go to protege5online.com. Mitch will get you a much better deal.

Which endlinks?

OK, I've been searching all over this board and haven't found the answer. When going to the adj struts on a P5 which endlinks need to be replaced (front or rear)and where can I find the part #?

Thanks
James

From what I understand:

The P5 have 10" endlinks stock in the front (verified by myself).

The MSP and MP3 have a 7.5" endlinks stock in the front (NOT verified)

Putting the JICs on a P5 will use the stock end link sizes both front and rear (verified by myself)

you can use the MS adjustables if you get a pair of adjustable
endlinks from AWR. I think i was quoted $50 for the pair plus
shipping from Mitch.

im hoping that tokico will get their butts together and
make struts for the pro5's by the time my stockers are blown though...

Yeah, I had planned on getting the AWR rear bar and endlinks (all around) but after your and mackdaddy's less than satisfactory results I've decided to wait and see if AWR sorts it out. One end of the adj struts are already Tokicos (presumably revalved Illuminas) so I don't see a huge reason to wait, except maybe for price. I also don't see why they don't already have the Illuminas available. It looks suspiciously like that may never happen. In some defense of AWR, they do make race car parts where the squeeking isn't really an issue. If it comes to it, I'll either use the AWR 2-way bar, or try get the MP3 rear bar and use the stock endlinks. Any other suggestions are welcomed. Oh, I'm doing this because I'm putting Eibach springs on at the same time and I prefer just to take it all apart one time.

Thanks,
James

If I was going to the MS adj strut on a P5, could I use the MP3 stock front endlinks from mazda? I think I got this figured out. Has anyone else done it this way or did everyone buy the adjustable from AWR. I think stock mazda would be more reliable in the long run. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
