Eibach springs Vs. Tein springs

Which one is better for a P5? I know they both cost about the same.

If I'm not mistaken, Teins are coilovers and cost like $1000 more.
Eibach are just lowering springs.

Teins will win by far in performance and rideability.

Tein does make S-Tech springs for the P5...Not sure about the spring rates so I can't say which will be stiffer...but they lower about a half an inch more, if that is what you are going for...

Check Jason's page, the Advance Imports banner at the top of this page...He is selling them for $195, which is the best I could find...

Spring rates of the Teins are 179 lb/in front, 145 lb/in rear, straight rate. It's impossible to compare this directly to the Eibachs because all Pro-Kit springs are progressive rate and they don't release their spring rates to the public. However, I would suspect that the Tein springs are stiffer, based on the increased lowering, and the fact that Eibach Pro-Kits tend to be on the soft side.

i have the eibachs and the ride is very close to that of stock. it's just a tad more bumpy on rough roads, but on smooth roads, it feels a lot more stable. even highway driving feels a little better now because of teh springs. i like them. i'm sure tein springs are just as good. they might be a little stiffer because eibachs are generally known to be on the softer side of performance springs. you won't regret it, either way you go.
