Tein Springs

i just got some tein springs for my 2001 protege lx.... i was wondering if installing these causes any kind of wear and tear... or if they cause problems with the suspension...... i also need to find a place that will install for cheap..

Wear and tear on what? Tires? Yes, they will wear faster.
Stock struts? Probably they will wear faster. I've got over 35k on my Eibachs with no sign of problems yet though, and PA roads are pretty crappy.

As for install, it's not a tough job for two people. There should be at least one How-to on this forum.

I walked this road -if i had do it again - i would just do the upgraded shocks at the same time.

Same labor and the stock struts are probably more than half-life anyway (they are really only good for 60K miles or so)...

My $.02 worth...
