I like the kit a lot...especially the new lower look it gives. Handling is great and the ride is about the same as stock. I paid $210+S&H from Ultra Performace.

I've been riding on the pro-kit for 10+ years...they've been great. Good ride, good performance.

Great to hear. I'm gonna get this kit in the spring time. The only thing I've been worried about, is I drive around 1-2 hours a day, and I want to make sure that the drive is still smooth (not TOO bumpy), but at the same time, giving my car a little better look, with the drop.

hey,
i have just put the eibach pro kit on my 2000 protege dx the ride is just about the same as stock. there it little to no bounce in the ride unless you hit a huge bump, but then its still not that harsh.

I've been happy with mine with the MazdaSpeed struts. I'll be switching to Racing Beats soon though, so I may have some Eibachs for sale soon.

I was contimpating going to the same setup. Why the switch to the Racing Beats?

Slightly better ground clearance. The front of the Protege doesn't have as much suspension travel as the rear. I've noticed that when I do hit the bump stops with the Eibach springs, it's always in the front. I've also read about a bump steer problem with the SpeedVision World Challenge Touring Proteges when the front was lowered too much. I haven't noticed that with the Eibachs, but I'm more interested in handling than appearance, so why take a chance? Also, it can't hurt to go with a package that was designed to work together. I have a lot of confidence in Racing Beat.
