Thumbs down Bad wheel Alignment

I just got my car back and guess what chicken butts.. all my tires were f'd up! I have a 99 Protege and my 2 front struts broke down on me at 28K! Mazda replaced both struts but for some reason didn't align my wheels. I just replaced all of 'em and have it aligned. Cost me roughly $700! There goes my $!

Does anyone had a problem like this before? Bad struts and not aligned wheels.

Life's a biatch isn't?

a 99 and a brand new 02? shouldnt that be covered under warranty? the dealer shouldve known this needed to be done... have you tried to have them reimburse you or something? :/ That just sounds strange, 28k and replacing that already and them not aligning it after doing susp work.

Just to confirm, they will do a full re-align when they replace the 2 rear struts that got bent when my car took a ghost ride last thursday.

We had a pretty good discussion about re-alignment, as I wanted it done and the guy said I'd definately have to redo it after the struts anyway.

P5 is doing okay. I talked to the Mazda and told me that the 1999's warranty on anything under the chasis was 12 months from the date of purchase (is this standard?). I was actually lucky that they covered my struts 3 years after It brokedown on 28K. They replaced both front struts (of course I assumed they re-aligned my wheels since I had it fix right there!). At 36K now I noticed my tires were f'ud. So I had it check and replaced right away. I'm going down to the dealer today, got all my old worn out tires. They shoulda aligned and I should get re-imburse by all means!
