Exclamation Drum brakes stuck!

Hey guys,

I'm trying to get my brake drums off but running into some trouble. The parking brake is off- the drum spins freely, but it hangs up on the pads when I try to pull the drum off. Is there a way to retract the brake shoes so you can pull the drum off?

Thanks,

Jason

Have you tried backing off the parking brake adjuster bolt? It's deep inside the console to the left of the handbrake handle(you'll need a deep 10MM socket). There are also threaded holes in the drum to screw bolts into that should pop off the drum. Hope these help.
