Yes, the KVR cross drilled brake rotors are 4 lug 10.2" rotors from the Protege ES.

No, they should be available from several places. The only other place I''ve seen them listed is Strano Performance parts. http://www.stranoparts.com/

Glad to hear it. Now if I could just find an upgrade for my '00 ES... Actually, I was thinking if I could contact Powerslot about the slotted 10.8" rotors they make for the V6 626, and get them to drill those exact rotors with a 4x100mm bolt pattern, I should be able to drop those on my '00 ES with the caliper brackets from the V6 626. I know the V6 626 rotors use the same brake pads as the Protege ES, so I think they are the same calipers but with different brackets to fit the larger rotors. Time to do some research.

Only the custom Wilwood setup AWR created for their SpeedVision World Challenge Touring car. They stay busy, so I haven't gotten a response from them about it yet. I'm working on it though. My latest idea is to try and get Autospecialties to drill their existing Probe/MX-6/626 V6 10.8" rotors with a 4x100mm bolt pattern. Add Probe/MX-6/626 calipers and brackets and you have a decent front upgrade.

Goodridge SS brake Lines? Gen3

Anybody know where a guy can get some Stainless Steel brake Lines (assembled) for a 99 ES Pro with rear drums? NOPI is out or stock. Also on the Goodridge lines, in the part number description for a 99 Pro with rear drums it states SOHC uhn? Didn’t know they made a SHOC Pro in 99 or is this just a type-o? Also has anybody made they own SS lines? If so, how hard is it?
Thanks

You should be able to get lines from Russell or Goodridge or any other manufacturer that produces stainless brake lines. You need to measure the length of your stock lines, identify the connectors on each end (male, female, thread size, etc.), and describe the center bracket that clips to the strut. Contact Goodridge or Russell directly and tell them your specs. They should be able to make the lines for you. It does sound like NOPI is confusing the 3rd gen pro with the earlier gens, so I would verify all the connectors are correct before ordering from them.

Re: Saw a '02 LX

I didn't quite get what you meant by the brakes??

I was going to school today and I saw some lady driving around in the parking lot in a '02 LX. At first I thought it was just another '01 ES (because of the colored mirrors), but as I looked closer, it had the regular chrome headlights and no fog lights. The "Protege" emblem has changed to the one that looks like the P5's (confirmed now, knew it already). Other than that, the car looks pretty much the same outside.

Anyway, to the point. I confirmed that the LX (and we can now assume the DX) has 4 lug hubs/wheels, and because the '02 front brakes are all the same size as the ES, everyone with the 99-01 pros with dinky front brakes can upgrade easily!

Mazda has used three different front rotors on the 3rd Gen Proteges. 4x100mm 9.2" diameter rotors on the '99-'01 DX and LX. 4x100mm 10.2" diameter rotors on the '99-'00 ES and '02 DX & LX. 5x114.3mm 10.2" diameter rotors on the '01 ES & MP3 and '02 ES & Protege 5. So '99-'01 DX & LX owners can upgrade to 4x100mm 10.2" rotors from the '99-'01 ES and '02 DX & LX model Proteges.
