Yakima Ankle Biter Duce mounted to Mazda adapter brackets.

I put my Ankle biter on this morning using the Mazda adapter brackets instead of the yakima brackets. Had to go to the hard ware store to purchase some hard ware (wing nuts) But for the most part it works just fine. Ill have pictures for those who are interistited tommorow some time.

Ankle biter?

Did you mount a beagle or a little terrier to your car? do we need to call the ASPCA?

Obviously, I have no idea what an Ankle Biter is.......

I think it's the thing that holds your bike onto the roof-racks...?
If it is, let's see some pics.

Cool - thanks for clearing it up - I had no idea.

Not that I need a bike rack anyway.

But still - can it hold a little rat dog if you want it to? j/k.

Thanks for the explanation...we always refer to small children as "ankle biters"

This is using the MAZDA adapter brackets and not the ones supplied from yakima. Had you buy some washers and wing nuts to get everything to work perfectly.

Just a note

Maybe you shold trim the bolts so the are not so close to the roof of the car. You would not be happy with a big scrach on the nice paint job.

I plan on it once I get the second rack for the wife's bike. For now it's on there and I'm not gonna mess with it.
