hi i just bought me a p5 last nite not because its the shiznik but because its all i can afford for a unique lookin lil car. I had a choice between corolla, sentra, civic, protege lx, these cars r just typical cars that u see on the road most of the time unlike the p5's very few peeps r driving it...

I'd like to know how heavy this car is?
whats the horsepower and torque?
can u guys post ur p5 pic? id love to see 'em . thx!

The car weighs 3611 lbs (Manual) and 3664 lbs (Automatic)
The car is rated at 130 HP @ 6000 RPM
with 135 lbs/ft torque @ 4000 RPM

ahem, Protege5 weighs 2716lbs. according to Edmund's spec sheet.

no way in hell these cars weigh 3600+ lbs.

LOL even the way our cars are gear (lower than most) i don't think our 2.0L has nuff power to move the car if it weighed 3611

 

Ahhh ****, I'm an idiot, those weight numbers I gave you are the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

The Curb Weights are those posted by ZoomZoomH and JJB.

 

My car weighed about 2700 w/ me in it at the track, but then again I weigh about 2 ounces! You should be looking at stock #s around 102 hp and 114 torque at the drive wheels (roughly) and your P5 can run mid-high 16s stock in the 1/4 mile.

 

IMO "Ghost323f" has the best looking P5
