Hey Prote-J (and anyone else who cares to comment!)
The reason I asked is because I bought the Mazdaspeed Sport Exhaust directly from a dealer, and mine is definitely a Racing Beat--the one pictured is very different from mine & I thought I had read somewhere that when some ppl ordered the Mazdaspeed Exhaust it was a Borla.

I always thought the aftermarket mazdaspeed exhausts purchased from the dealer for sedans and P5s were made by Borla; Racing Beat made the exhausts for the MP3s and Mazdaspeed Proteges.

Am I wrong here?

Paul....get in the kitchen and make me a pie!!

I can't imagine mazda springing for Borla quality pieces. This is the same mazda who loaded up every MSP with refurb audio equipment....the same mazda who can't figure out how to make a decent intercooler and uses plastic endtanks because you save $1 over aluminum.

A whole dollar, wow, that can't even buy you a small coffee 'round here!
So what is the correct answer ? Are there really two Mazdaspeed Sport Exhausts?
Weird.
All I can say for sure is mine's got RACING BEAT etched into it...and looks pretty much like the cat-back on RB's website (sans piping of course). The pic posted by Jackyl is def. not the same piece.
Hey Jackyl--if you buy it I'll have to meet up with you somewhere and we'll compare our rice-cans!

yeah the MS P5 exhaust I believe is just an in-house piece and the MSP/MP3 piece is a Racing beat
