any benefit between ecu's

i have a sohc 1.8l pro
would there be any benefit switching my ecu to the dohc ecu or i guess the lx ecu or would it cause more damage than good. going to get some stuff from the local junk yard tomorrow so i thought i'd ask

Sounds like that would be a bad move. The ECU from the LX probably is programmed to deal with the DOHC engine and any other things that the LX might have as opposed to the DX. Other things can be changed but don't go for that change unless you're changing the engine too, ofcourse.
