wings west kit

On the new kit, you have two options, buy the 4 piece kit(front bumper, two sideskirts and rear lower wrap) or the 4 piece kit plus the fender flares.
I don't know the price of the 4 piece by itself, but with the fender flares, the kit will run about $1100 - $1200. This does not include the Skyline wing which is $357, the hood bonnet, rear window wing or carbon fibre hood.
The kit will be out in March
Hope that helped.

I don't know if you are asking about the Wings West kit or the Sport 20 kit. But the "complete kit does include the fenders with the Sport 20 Kit. However they do not stock these anywhere that I know of. It took me 4 months to get them.
If you were asking about the Wings West kit just disregard this message.

how does the engine runs?
have u done any dyno or 1/4 mile tests yet?
i've been to many forums about protege but i haven't see anybody post the dyno result or 1/4 mile result of the FS-ZE engine yet, and i really hope someone can get this done since so many of us is curious about how fast the engine really is~
also, how's the fuel economy of the engine?
sorry for troubling, thx~~!!
(hope u get ur ECU done soon~ )

Hey Kev
The engine runs fine. Haven't had any problems with it yet. (knock on wood). Fuel economy is about the same. Maybe a couple of MPG less. I could be wrong on that tho. I never really payed attention to the stock engines MPG. The cars are a little faster than an MP3's time with a professional driver. Keep in mind tho we never really reach our peak power due to the ECU. Our cars redline at 6500rpm where as the FS-ZE peak is at 6800 and redline is 7500. That is why we need the ECU. Also we are not getting enough RPM to take advantage of the "vtec" type feature that the FS-ZE has. No serious 1/4 mile times have been attempted by me or Jeremy Thomas the other FS-ZE swapper. We have raced each other tho. Dead even. Suprising given that his car only has 1 cat and mine has 2. Hope this answers your ?s. If not feel free to ask.

Actually, that's not very surprising considering you both have the restrictive primary cat. The second cat is nowhere near as restrictive as the primary and shouldn't make much difference. Sounds like you guys have confirmed that. That primary cat probably costs you as much or more HP as the ECU. Jeremy, since you have the dual cat exhaust, if you replaced the stock manifold and primary cat with a header, you should see a nice boost in HP.

The header would be nice and Im sure it would make a nice power gain. The only reason I haven't gotten it yet is because we have emissions testing here. I want to make sure that the car will pass with the swap first. If so then I will feel more comfortable removing one of the cats. It should pass tho.

All 3 bars are the same. The only difference between them is 1 of the mounting brackets. Sport 20s' and the MP3 do not have cruise control therefore the bracket is different from the P5 which has cruise control. Other than that they are exactly the same.

I dunno if someone mentioned this already but I emailed wings west and they said they hope to have an mp5 kit out by march. They said it will look like their mp3 kit, I have pics of the mp3 front and rear but I still do not know what the sideskirts will look like.
