The rims are 17X7 with 205/40/17 on them . They are the Gunmetal ones. The lips make them look wider than they are. I don't know how much he payed for them but I can ask or you all can just e-mail him.

Actually there are 2 ppl that have the FS-ZE swaps. 1) Jeremy DeHart (brother). 2) Jeremy Thomas. (our friend) They both got their engines from Corksport. Both installed at our local tuner shop. The engine cost $2100.00 + shipping + install.

Question sport 20

Hey Jeremy D

Is it possible to just get the front bumper installed on a 99/00 without doing the headlight conversion etc...??

ProtegeRider,

The bumper will fit without changing the headlights BUT there will be gaps under the headlights (slightly different shape) and on the sides where the 1/4 panel meets the bumper. Those gaps really annoyed me and I felt like everyone noticed them. Thats why I just got everything and the did the conversion correctly. IMHO it was too much money to spend to not have it fit nicely.

Jeremy Thomas and I are only putting down about 140hp at the moment. We have a very reputable place that is going to be looking at my car to see what they can do with the ECU. You need yo have ECU work for it to run at its fullest potential.

Makaveli

Jeremy Thomas got his Tenzo rims from an online site. (he can't remember which) shipped to his door with tires for $1600.

when you get the ECU straightened out, post who did and let us know what is involved in getting it running correctly. i would be interested in knowing what potential we have.

Tenzo Shu 4 wheels

You can get those wheels for about 1000-1100 shipped with Falken wheels to fit a 3rd gen protege from ard performance. Here is the link.
http://www.ardperformance.com/store/...11548038.11008
They are $650 for the wheels without tires, mounting or balancing. That is pretty inexpensive. I called about these wheels previously as I want them as well. Give them a call....

Thanks for the compliments on my rims. I'm glad nobody joked on my wheel gap That's soon to be fixed with B&G springs I have yet to install.

Currently, Jeremy Dehart and I are as fast or slightly faster than an MP3. So, I'll go with Jeremy's number and say about 140hp (not at the wheels however). Here, engine management is everything and the stock 1.8L ECU isn't cutting it. I think I'll die of old age before Corksport gets superchips to make a piggyback. So, we're going to go to a local shop and see what they can do. When it's all said and done, I hope to have about 150hp at the wheels.

Sport 20

Jeremy D:

You said on your reply to my post that there was a gap between the bumper and 1/4 panel so does that mean you changed the 1/4 panel also?? What panel did you change it with??

I really like the sport 20 bumper and was wondering if the gaps (around the headlights and 1/4 panel) are really noticeable from a few feet away.

In order to get rid of the gaps I had to change the 1/4 panels and the headlights. The gaps annoyed me enough to make me want to get rid of them. It just didn't look right. Plus I felt better doing the conversion the "right" way. More impressive IMHO. Its pricey however as you may know. Hope this helps. Good luck.
