as the subject indicates, I'm looking for the receiver for the keyless remote. Anyone know where it is?

It should be located somewhere in the passenger side kick panel.

I just pulled the interior trim panel off the tailgate to do some sound deadening and there is an item that looks like an antenna for the receiver in there. It is a black tube about 7 in.long that reminded me of the old AM antennas on the back of home receivers. I couldn't think of anything else it could be and I might be wrong. Anyone know for sure? Since mine's been malfuntioning lately I messed around with locking/unlocking a number of times and also heard a relay clicking under the driver's side dash each time the remote was pressed.

well, it's not the black tube in the lift gate. I think that has something to do with the rear window defroster. I can't seem to locate it in the passenger footwell/kickplate area either. I even remove the glovebox and didn't see anything to either side that looked like it could be it.

in the mp3, its mounted to the rear deck, so i would imagine somewhere in the rear...good luck.

No luck there either. I pulled the panels back there but didn't find it. The search continues!
