Unhappy Where can I get roof caps for Protege5?

I just purchased a used 2002 Protege5. It came with the roof rack, but the previous owner had lost the caps for the rails. I'd like to remove the rack to cut down on the wind noise and improve my fuel efficiency. I talked to the local mazda dealer's parts department and they want about $160 for the 4 caps that go in the rails.

Is there any place that would have them (or after-market imitations) for cheaper?

I couldn't find anything on the web (checked mazdastuff.com, thepartsbin.com, and a few others).

The part numbers I'm looking for are as follows:
B25H-51-T12B
B25H-51-T22B
B25H-51-T16B
B25H-51-T26B

Thanks much.

Unfortunately the only place to obtain those particular parts are from the dealer. Maybe the other option is a scrap yard but I doubt you will find any wrecked P5s in there. I wonder what happens to the P5s that are written off?

Lucky for us the Canadian P5s don't come with roof racks so our fill pieces are tiny. I can fit all four in my glove box or my CD box in the centre console. Cool!

I have a set that I will never use. My car is about 2 months old.

What would you offer for my new ones?

How hard was the fog/parking light merge?

zmzmp5, I saw on your mod website that you had linked the fog lights to the parking lights. How hard was that mod to do? I had a bad experience with my 91 protege and lights, I dont want to make the same mistake with my p5.

Do the "fog light" search. It will show you. Basically, cut red wire on relay, tap to that of parking light wire. Done. 10-15 minutes.
