my dealer is asking me to go back for my 7500 mile maintenance. does anyone know what it involves? I mean especially what it involves from my wallet?

if its an oil change and tire rotation then I think I can wait cause I jsut did that at 5500 miles.

It's total BS, but if you don't have these little service things done, they can deny you warranty coverage later if they can conceivably, even to some ridiculous degree, link the problem back to what you failed to have done (when my brother's S2000 differential blew up, they tried to blame his Bilsteins????). I'd have a private shop do it for 1/2 the money if I opted to do it, I've never had those interval things done by the dealer and it hasn't bitten me in the butt yet... (knock on wood!)

 

yeah, definetely go to a car place for your things and have them stamp your booklet saying that you got your car serviced. Don't go to your dealer unless you have to since they'll charge you litterarily 3 times the price......

 

Dude don't go. its for wiper blades, flush coolant, oil change, rotate tires and check brakes for $200.00

I didn't do it, I just asked them.

 

just remenber... if it breaks you get to UPGRADE it! That is the deal with my wife with my car!! Mazda speed radiatior, crossdrilleds, and Toyos...here we come!


(just dont skip changing the oil, the way I drive i should probably do it weekly!)
