It's kinda a bitch just because of the tight location. basically, you jack up the car, take off the passenger side wheel, take out the plastic guard under there.. then loosen the power steering pump bolts and slide it in with the adjuster bolt (if it isn't rusted solid). Then on the backside of the engine (next to the oil filter) do the same to the alternator. pull the belts off, then hit the crank pulley bolt with an impact wrench for a while and it'll come off.. swap on the rr-racing pulley, bolt it on with the impact, then attach the new belts and get them tight, but not too tight (if they're loose, you'll know.

you want +/- 1/8" deflection on the accessory belts. While you're there, you may as well do the timing belt too....

yeah you're 85% of the way there, might as well.

For the accessory belts I always used the "if you can turn it more than 90 degrees, it's too loose" method.

By 1/8" you mean with.. a firm push of the finger? if so, yeah that seems nice and tight

deflection as in being able to push the belt in? i think i may take it somewhere...is there a timing belt part number? also, how much do u think it would run for the rear mm, udp, and timing belt install at a mechanic. about?

no idea. How many miles does your car have? Just go to napa and get the timing belt for like $50 (for some reason, they're crazy expensive). The accessory belts may as well be changed while you're there, along with the water pump.

It's honestly not worth going all the way to the crank pulley withouth doing the rest of this stuff.

there's two accessory belts (one does the a/c and power steering, the other does the water pump and alternator) plus the timing belt. While I'd trust auto parts store stuff for the accessory belts, for the timing belt I'd stick to OEM.

wait....stock type belts won't work on the new crank pulley? WTF? That doesn't make sense...

Generally (in every one i've seen) the belts are the same, pulley's the same dimensions, it's just a lighter pulley

Why would it be called an underdrive pulley if it was just a lightweight pulley? No company sells a lightweight crank pulley for our cars that isn't also underdriven.
