The Dark Blue - Navy Rules
I got a 2001 Mazda Protege Mp3 #1012 in lazer mica blue.
my good friend went out 2 weeks later and bought the 2002 Mazda protege MP5 Midnight blue (or whatever the color is) and it looks better than my car.
Also the dark navy blue is not being put on sedans anymore.
wait for the lazer mica blue P5 ! its supposed to be out mid next year. or mabey sooner ? I dunno, but it looks bad a$$.

I agree with those who have said that the P5 looks good in any colour. I'm looking to get a 2003 P5, and I'm leaning towards the blue, unless a new colour comes out that I like. I also would say that in Toronto anyway, white has got to be the rarest colour and silver the most common.

I'm MORE than HAPPY with my vivid YELLOW Protege5. I believe that NO OTHER car ( including other color Protege's) look better than the vivid Yellow version. The car SHINES like BEACON in the sunlight while the black trim accents the car in a AWESOME way!
As for as the "claim" of "thin paint" or "no clear-coat", I believe that as long as I keep my car waxed well, that I should have no "paint problems" in the future.
Note: If your a bit shy and don't like people looking at you & your car DO NOT purchase the vivid Yellow Protege5. as IT WILL turn heads!!
Later, Speedbump.
