After missing the '02's, we just ordered an '03. Black, moonroof, 6CD I didn't want, MazdaSport exhaust, and window tint. Have to kiss the '90 Integra g'bye after 12 years and 320K miles. Some kid's gonna get a great platform..

I'm told late September early November. After looking at everything else, I think this P5 will fill my wife's need for a hatchback with style and value. My first Mazda, although I help wrench my buddy's Miata (put a nice lil turbo in).

 

Congrats. Man, September wouldn't be bad, but November would suck if it took that long. Good-Luck. You have more patience than me.

 

How much are you paying for the '03 MP5? Is it the same as '02??? I know it depends on region.. just wanna see if I got my '02 with a good deal.

 

We signed for a hair under $17K; this will change at delivery because there are no current "incentives" or rebates etc for the '03s. Salesguy told us we'll juggle a few bucks at delivery.

Funny, about 10 months ago I was gunning for the Vibe or Matrix for my wife and spotted a yellow P5 at this dealer. My inquiries got " Yellow's a ltd color" "Never heard of the Vibe??" etc.

Well, in comparison, the Mazda seems a helluva good deal, and yeh I'm willing to wait for what I wanted--big pain getting a black 5 sp w/moonroof. I wanted yellow but she wanted black.
