Question Variable Intermittent Wiper Mod

A couple questions for all those who've made the intermittent wiper mod: have you experienced any negative repercussions from it?

1. Any wiper motor problems?
2. Any electrical problems?
3. Anything irregular going on which you could attribute to it?

Anyone try out using a Tribute or Escape control module?

Thanks!

Mine's been sitting in a box in the garage for the last couple of weeks. I'll be installing mine this weekend. It's $84 at www.mazdastuff.com.
