new track times!

i removed the air filter\tubing at the MAF, VICS-modded the intake, and went down the 1/8th mile again. i got to play around since the track conditions sucked, turn out was low and got in 8 runs, lol.

my 60's consistenly went down. i am finally getting the hang of launching this car. my trap speeds we're alot better too. more inline with what i was running at ennis (98 mph in the 1/4). then again, the DA was rather low tonight and track temp was 51*. good weather for a turbo car.

the best run was 9.26 @ 77.6 but they lost that timeslip, and i am LIVID. i tried finding the guy i ran against to see if he would let me have my yellow losers slip (LOL, LS1 camaro on slicks vs. me!), because i really wanted to know what my 60' was on that pass *it felt really good*.

the next best slip i have is 9.31 @ 77.8. the sixty foot time on this pass was a 2.348, so with all things considered equal *powershifting at 6400 rpm*, it should have been roughly a 2.28 short time.

i have a handful of 9.34-9.57 passes, but those were either shitty 60' times or (D'OH) i missed 3rd and had to let off and get back in.

this car is fun, i am taking it to ennis soon to get more times with some full exhaust.

1/8th mile times

if he was able to do under 10 secs in a 1/4, his trap speed would be WAYYYYY over 77mph...lol..... if that was the time he was doing in the 1/4 then i would say he would be hitting like 140mph trap speeds

That is what I thought....I must have missed the 1/8th part. I saw 9's and was like "damn that will smoke my Evo"
