traded 02 for 03
Hi everyone,
I went to the local mazda dealer and traded My 02 vivid yellow p5 with sunroof and 34,700k miles for another P5! Silver is the color and it comes without a roof rack (just like 02 canadian models, new opion under $300)!!! Sunroof and in dash 6 disc with a 100 watt subwoofer which is under the carpet in the rear fitting nicely above the spare( what a great Idea )!!! Polished wheels for the outside and of course black leather for the inside!!! Cargo net and tray to wrap up the opions. I'm extra happy with the opions that mazda has come up with. If You were starting over how I did, What would you do first? I already have-
17 inch Ats rims
H-R springs(still in box)
Wings West front bumper(still in Box)*
Autoexe grill (still in box)*
Aem intake
Apexi exhuast( I would like something different)
Over half way towards FM Turbo.
*Should I have everything painted or keep saving for FM?*

i'd wait a little longer before considering turboing it...for now the only systems that work with the p5 are fmu or eic...it only allows fuel to be increased based on boost yet tricking the ecu...no other control is avail due to the ecus closed loop through most of the rev range...the big danger is most turbos interal wastegates rely ni a very turbulant area and in the higher gears at WOT you'll get boost spikes = blown engine

Yes, it is Powered and there are Gain adjustments also. It also has a plastic tray with orginizer under the carpet around the spare and subwoofer. The bolt that holds the spare in also goes through the center of the subwoofer. It doesn't Boom but you can definitly tell it is there. I'm used to a jl 10 and I'm happy with it!!
