Only a 1.8t or VR6 jetta would provoke me from buying my Pro. The only thing is that because of the price, the Jetta is in a higher class than a Pro. I would in a heart beat buy a MSP over any Jetta. Especially for the same price.

I look for space...none of the vehicles listed offer enough leg or head room.

I tried all the other cars except the focus. I think the focus would be a good comparison, except with the amount of defects and recalls that car has had in the past few years.

Also most Jetta's for the US Market are made in Mexico. My friend has a VR6 and he had to bring his car in several times to be fixed due to a defect in the Jetta's design. But I would never go for a VW due to the amount of space for gear and passengers.

I really had no problem with the P5 yet. The only complaint is the amount of noise in the cabin...but I cover that with the CD's that I play.

A better comparison would be Subaru's RS and TS Impreza's. Around the same amount of money. I was about to go and get an RS, but stopped when I saw the amount of passenger and driver space inside the car.

Should be Elantra, or maybe it shouldn't.

- Focus: Crappy interior material,
- Matrix/corolla: Two words: Mister Magoo
-Civic: Get lost in the herd,
- Jetta/golf/beetle: Dead in 75k
-Subaru: See Jetta^
-Accent: I'd rather sit in jail,

PROTEGE!! The best car for the money.
I think that Mazda is on a roll of making the best compact cars around for a few years now. That's why I dropped 16 grand on one!

I like old muscle cars, but the protege5 and its mp3 and msp along with the ex and lx are great cars. Honda Civic suck, look to much like a mistbishi galant. (sorry about mitsbishi) The Focus is the new Honda and played out.

To tired to type.

Oh and dude please go back to high school.

Exactly, no such competition. Whoever put the Matrix, PT Cruiser, Suzuki Aerio, or any of those pieces of crap as competition needs to be shot, or at least hurt really bad.
