ok guys....

I've been with you for 2 weeks now.....

And jesus! you guys are crazy with all your mods, blinkings lights and all the rest!!

Anywhere I can find some book "how's to mod your p5" or web site like "Modding p5 for dummy"??

need some really basic infos!

just be original. that's the best advice i can give ya. original doesn't include altezzas, fart tips, or big wings .

Oh yeah, I saw one guy with a nice face grill.....it was a black p5....cant find the tread anymore

wiring threads will be in car audio, and car electronics sections. welcome to the board. you'll find all sorts of stuff here to get you started in modding your new p5. have fun!

Basically, read the "Protege FAQ" and then follow all the sections of this forum, and within a few months you'll know so much more then you do now

Oh and don't rush the mods since you'll probably regret buying some stuff later on. Sleep on your money and read the FAQ are the best two things that I can tell you

Yeah just like everyone else said, just read the posts as much as you can, do searches, and then ask questions. Everyone here is really cool and knowledgeable, and they will help you out when you get stuck.

Yup the best way I learned is see what people are posting, get the comments and find out how to do it. There is also a manual out that shows you all the internal components and the make of the P5. I got one at PartSource to get me started.

Oh yea, good idea to start with the basics and move up.

K&N Filters
Sound System
Tints (get someone to do this)
Those really annoying blinking LED's on the washer sprayer thingys.
Painting the brake calipers.

I just learned how to install a CAI, replace the hoses and I am figuring out the body kit next.
