Thinking About Putting Eyelids on My ES-GT

However, they say I have 2 options:

Fiberglass or Vinyl.

Now the Vinyl one is cheaper but i'm skeptical on the quality and how long it will last, the professional look and the overallness (is that a word?) of it.

I'm trying to acheive the looks of this pro (the eyelids only)

Another example:

Can you also do this with Vinyl?

Don't go vinyl it will look ghetto, Personally I would go CF for the eyelids I think www.dgmotorsports.com carries them.

Thing is I don't have anything to compare the CF one too. At least I wanna see how the vinyl one looks like.

I made mine out of vinyl about a year and a hlaf ago. I didn't like how the mintblue style eyelids covered so much of the light so I modeled my vinyl ones after that style just smaller. And I will be keeping them on until I find a design similar to what I have only in fibreglass or plastic.

RiceWagon how did you get the emblem in your autoexe grille to stay? I ordered my dgmotorsports CF autoexe grille but the only thing I need is to find the mazda emblem you have and to find out a way to put in on like you have it in the picture. How did you get the emblem to stay on the grille?

P.S. Sorry for the thread jacking

I used Plumber's Epoxy Putty... It's just like playdough. I made a few little ***** of it and then put it on the back of the emblem and pressed it in place. It will never, ever, move this stuff works great, it's also how I fastened the factory mesh in place too. You can find it at Home Depot in the plumbing section.

See Ricewagon's looks way nicer than the one I got from cardomain. It doesnt stand out as much as the other one. How much did it cost you?

I'd model my eyelids as best I can as the blue pro I put on my first post.
