Unhappy Is there a way to make MNAO change MS Protege's colors?

Is there a good way to let Mazda North America Operation know that the colors they've picked for the Mazdaspeed Protege, black mica and SPICY ORANGE , are underwhelming to say the least, if not downright bad choice?

Is it even possible for them to change the colors before production begin later this year???

I really REALLY want to see the MS Pro back in the Laser Blue Mica ala the MP3 or the Titanium gray metallic from this year's special edition Miata.

Is it possible???

Yeah, I'm not too fond of orange either. Black is a good color though. As for the Miata why not the good old British racing green with tan top? I love that color scheme on roadsters. Esp. from Jaguar. But silver metallic colors are too subdued for a performance version. I would prefer it screamed yellow.

I emailed them anyway, let's see what kind of irrelevant bullshit they'll respond me with, if at all

I'll post their response if they send me one...

and my strut bar is the strut bar kit that they sell at Mazda dealers, I got mine from mazdastuff.com. Everything was a direct bolt-on, no cutting

Message Body:
Hi, I currently own a 2000 Protege ES and am very satisfied with it. I have been following the unveiling of the Mazdaspeed Protege at the New York auto show closely, and have few comments that I would like to make.

I was wondering what what was the reasoning behind picking spicy orange and black mica as the colors for the Mazdaspeed Protege, in particular the orange. There are many current Protege owners expressing concerns that this 'unique' color will turn away prospective buyers that want the underhood performance gains but not the extroverted color scheme.

My follow-up question is, of the 2000 Mazdaspeed Proteges projected for North America sale, what's the volume percentage between the black and the orange?

Personally, if the Mazdaspeed Protege comes painted with either the laser blue mica from the MP3 or the titatnium gray metallic from this year's special edition Miata, I would put down a deposit for one at an authorized Mazdaspeed dealer in a heartbeat. Keep up the good work!

Sincerely,

Hank Kuo

p.s. the Protege owners' opinions regarding the colors of the Mazdaspeed Protege were observed from the following Mazda Protege-specific internet forums:

$100 dollars says the first MS Protege off your local dealers lot will be orange and that all the other orange proteges will quickly follow. Oh btw MAZDA usa wants to know what color you decided on; Laser Blue Mica or the Titanium gray metallic. I guess their makin one especially for you
