I'm new to this forum and I'm no motor head. I appreciate my '99 LX 1.6 for being dependable, comfortable, economical, and paid for.
I ran over a BIG chunk of truck tire tread that crunched the plastic splash guards under the engine on both sides. The dealership says that parts through them will cost over $300.00. I found nothing at the junk yards. I've looked at a few parts places online, but I get confused because their diagrams don't fit with what I see under the car.
I'd appreciate any guidance or wisdom in this matter.
