Update - Also realized that the car performs better with gradual acceleration as opposed to stamping the accelerator from a stand still...makes me wonder if my injectors aren't the problem...will consult with mechanic again...can't spend hundreds of dollars on cam and crank sensors, only to find out that the problem is elsewhere...
