I'm really hoping to find a deal on this mirror.
ya you can...it just can't be too dark....the cops want to be able to see an out line of a gun when walking up to your car

The bitch of the install was getting the original mirror off the mount... the directions say somethhing like "insert the flat head screwdriver in the bottom of the miror, push up until it stops, then apply some more pressure and pull on the mirror"... my A$$!!!! It took me a good 40 minutes of screwing around with the screw driver (which I managed to bend) before the thing came off... for a short while I considered abandoning the install as I did not want to risk cracking the glass...

So... if you are going to do it... have a lot of patience on hand!

So far I like it... though initial comments on it are as follows:

<snip>

Here is what I did. As the instructions indicate, use a 4mm screwdriver (really small) and insert it into the hole at the bottom of the mount base. When you feel resistance, push a LITTLE harder until you feel a snap-like feel. The screwdriver will then be held in place. Take the smallest hammer (yes, hammer) you can find. I used a mineral hammer or whatever they are called, and GENTLY tap on the base of the mount toward the headliner. All it takes is about 2-3 GENTLE taps for the mirror to start sliding up. You can then remove it by hand. It took me all of five minutes to remove the stock mirror.
