Passenger mirror

Somebody whacked my folding mirror a bit too far forward. The little rubber thing that connects the handle to the inside is snapped. I was wondering if anybody knows how to snap out the mirror portion from the plastic part so I can get to it. Also, I disconnected the spring... I thought it was 2 springs.. turns out it's just one wrapped all the way around. It went flying out. Lol. It's a bit hard to get it to go back in.

It looks like I have to unsnap the mirror part by doing something through that hole on the bottom. If anybody has the Mazda tech manual I bet it says (Haynes doesn't). Thanks!!
