Short throw and other goodies

I just purchased a new Pro5 (less than 24 hrs ago). Lovin' it! I was hoping to get some veteran's advice/opinions about a few things.

First: The best short throw shifter. The stock is a bit too long for my taste.
Second: Is a CAI worth the money for performance improvement or does it just sound cool?
Third: Upgraded clutches. Not enjoying the feather light feel of the stock. Maybe I just need to get used to it.
Forth: Window tint. All the way to the windshield or stop at the rear doors.
Last: Roof racks, mostly for bikes, maybe a canoe. Couldn't get a pro5 with one and they are all out.

2003 Pro5 Silver with all the trimings except polished wheels and the roof rack. This car handles better'n any I have owned before. Last ride was a 96 Cavalier Z24. Bit more in the pick up Dept but not nearly as fun as my new baby.

Appreciate any assistance.

Short shifters are made by:
Kartboy
B&M
TWM Performance
You can also replace your stock shifter with a shorter one from the MP3 or the MSD although these last two only have a shorter length not a shorter throw.

IMO a CAI gives you a cooler sound but not any increase in performance.

I run the stock clutch and no tint so I can't help you there.

the CAI is like any other mod...you have to do something to offset it. you'll have more air coming in, so you'll need more air going out. it does help with throttle responce as well.

i'm still debating on the short-throw. i have a pacesetter (it's adjustable)...but it's just too notchy for me. i have a mp3 shifter coming...if i don't like it i'll go for the kartboy or the b&m.

you really don't need to upgrade the clutch unless you're upgrading the motor. that's the whole point of an upgraded clutch...to hold the added hp and torque.

i have 20% tint all the way around...love it.

i took off my roof rack...it's kinda noisy when the moonroof is open.
