I called the dealership on my own for a price before I got my friend to order me one and they quoted me $130 plus tax. My total with tax was $101 so I saved close to 50 bucks. The wiring diagram was pretty expensive for what it was, and I didnt have much of a use for it anyways. My dealership never gave me any crap when I tried to buy the manual from them though so I dont see why anyone elses would.

Is regestering on that site to access the manual somehow wrong? I don't see the problem... that site is directly linked by mazda's site if you go about it right. Also that manual is a year old... Please enlighten me.

The problem is some people see this issue in too many different ways.
If I am not lying, doing anything illegal, or hurting anyone in any means, than I have the right to have something that cost me nothing.
If you had the option tp pay 3000 for a turbo kit that someone can get you for 10 dollars, which would you choose.
I didn't register or anything like that, but I had someone give me a copy of the manual. Of course I took it... it saved me $150 CAD. I'm not that rich...... especially when I can get somenthing for a better price.
It's the same reason why most people go to a car dealership and bargain for a good deal.. why not just pay the MSRP? Mazda works hard... come on.... dont take food off of their families tables.... pay MSRP... you shouldnt be looking for a cheaper price..yeah right.
My 0.02....

uhhh... but nothing with this requires any dishonesty... all you do is register a name on their site and thats it... they let you look at the manual. Call me crazy, but if they say register, I say ok, and they say heres the manual for free... how have i swindled anyone?
