mazaspeed u're an idiot

Dude you talk too much cr@p out of your @$$. Being a true n00b at stick ( 1 month) now.. shifting to 3rd and to 4th is the easiest. From 2nd the stick will automatically spring-pop itself to the center so all it really is is a straight push up to 3rd, and it's not hard at all. Same as going to 4th. 1st-2nd is the hardest and it's always stiffer when shifting.

My MP3 always has this slight notch/ grind when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. However it only happens when really pushing the rpms, over 6000.

I have had my MP3 for 1 year now and have 19,000 miles on it. It seems to get worse with age, and I just changed my trans fluid to syntheic, 1 week ago and the problem still exists.

I think the shifting forks are bent, because of the precision I use when I shift. I think I bent one of the shifter forks when my cell phone fell down into the shifter boot and prevented me from shifting into a higher gear and I kept forcing it, until I noticed the cell phone stopping me.

Think about what you are saying before you say it for god sake. GET YOUR CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP. Or learn how to shift. Its all you have to do. **Note: hardest gear people find to shift into...3rd** Maybe it isnt a coincidence.....
Hey MazdaSpeedRacer - Here's where all the problems started. Read your original post and tell tell us where you went wrong... okay, I'll give a few hints:

1. Don't assume that we (people) need to "LEARN HOW TO SHIFT" (all caps means you're yelling). I'm sure there are many very experienced drivers on this board who might have taken offense to your remark.

2. I personally can't honestly say that I've never grinded a gear or two even though I consider myself a pretty competent "shifter". Coincidentally, I've grinded 3rd gear on my MP5 a couple of times since I've purchased it. I figured it's just part of the break-in period since each time I've had the clutch on the floor.

3. The over-all tone of your postings are just too strong. Maybe this is normal - you're just an in-your-face kinda guy, but remember that first impressions are important in any type of community. So far this one has been pretty good about positive and constructive critism. I myself am a newbie and have been fairly careful to keep to what I know and not step on anyone's toes.

Final advice (take it for what it's worth) observe and excersise posting etiquette. Think about how your response would make YOU feel if you received it from someone else.

BTW - with 11,000 miles on my MP5, the tranny runs smooth and 3rd gear couldn't be any happier.

PEACE!
