Unhappy S.O.S.......glum and blah

OK, I need some help. Today....yea, worste day ever. I found out my girlfriend slept with another guy last night so I went to go with my best bud to get some chinese and talk about what I should do. Anyway, so I go out and this mother fudger slammed his door into the side of my car leaving a red bit of paint and a dent going from the strip across the side up to the door handle. It's long and wide but not deep at all. Is there anything I can do to fix this, I checked the paint and it's not cracked or scraped at all so no rust. Should I try one of those "Dent King" magnet deal or would that do more harm than good. Someone said something about using a blow dryer to heat it and it should pop out. Any bit of help would be apreciated...........girls can be a big pain sometimes.

In my opinion, you should:

- Get the dent fixed by a professional
- Make a larger dent on the car of the guy who slept with your girl (unless he didn't know she was already involved with you, in that case it is not his fault at all.... only hers)
- Dump your girl and forget about her (you could also take a pair of big pliers and pinch the exhaust tube under the car... makes her car have no power at all, and will probably take a while, and a lot of money, for her to figure it out).

I too, would take the car to a pro. Paintless Dent Repair: Cheap, quick and easy. I know it sucks but, lose the girl. Obviously, you don't care about her to much. You only talk about getting your car fixed.

Sorry about your bad day- things will get better, they always do.

Never had the change to try this, but I once read a post over at miata.net (I think it was there) about how you could pop minor dings without screwing up the paint by placing dry ice over the damage. I'll bet if you search the net, you could find some info on this.
