Roof Rack instruction?
#3
roof rack re-install
I saw something in the owner's manual about adjusting the rack. Maybe that section will help you out. I can't remember the amount of detail in the section.
I have looked up lots of roof rack info on the internet and have never seen anything about either install or de-install for our cars.

Should not be too hard just took mine off.
Assuming you did not dismantle the crossbars from their stands.
You should have the two crossbars and eight covers.
The covers are labelled if you look under them RHFRONT LHFRONT etc. Viola!
The crossbars have one bolt that go into a slider that fits underneath the rail, Pray you did not lose the slider and left in the rail when you put the caps on. It will only fit in a couple of places with the caps on.
1. Remove the beauty caps by snapping them off, should not be too hard.
2. Bolt the crossbars loosely into place with their one bolt into the slider. The front crossbar has a labell on it.
3. Screw the proper covers over the crossbar towers where bars meet the rails, (the ones we talked about being labelled).
4. Snap in the rail covers front and back.
I think that is all you should have to do..
