Rev. limiter?

Hi guys. I got a E-spec protege MP5? -01 with the 2.0L 131Hp engine. My rev. limiter is set to 6600rpm. Is this the same in the states?

I think the engine pulls strong when it goes in. I have had lots of gen1 protege and really apratiate the 7800 rpm limiter. To get good acceleration on those car you have to shift on 7500+ on first gear ( preferly 7700-7800 ).

What engine does MP3 have?

the rev limiter on north american 2.0 L P5's is 7200 rpm. although your tach may show a little more or less....that is the nominal setting.
