Replacing a headlamp can't be this hard...

I've just bought an'02 Protege5 and I'm trying to replace one of the headlamp bulbs... I'm missing something, because I can't get the dang things out to save my life. I looked in the how to articles and couldn't find anything. Anybody?

Did you unclip it? There's a clip that you have to push in and turn to release the (H7) bulb.

Honestly, I didn't even see the clip. I was trying to turn the bulb and peel the rubber boot. What a wierd system for bulb retention. I will see if I can get my gorilla hands to get the clip off...

Yeah, the clip is a PITA but once you find it, it's easy.
