i've had no problems with my lights for the past 4 months so far but then again live in canada so its cold for half the year...us canadians also have day time running lights too so they run all day...fogs are still standard wattage 55watts

Why?? Our fog lights are so poorly aimed and designed, it doesn't cause a problem to oncoming traffic. What is your reasoning behind not using them?
Generally they are annoying, there not driving lights so I dont see the point. Given ours are aimed poorly, but nothing I hate worse than some kid behind me with his fogs on, poorly aimed (but perfectly aimed into my rear view) coming up behind me.

Driving lights on the highway are fine, they work with your high-beams. I understand the bike thing too, when I was riding my GIXXER I had my highbeams on in the daytime so people would definately see me.

Just my opinion of course... but I can see me breaking my foot off in some kids *** someday because he re-aimed his self installed fogs.

My HIDs

My HIDs are the phillips 6000K system. Look for both Phillips ballasts and bulbs in a 6000K color temperature. I work in the industry so i got them at cost but you should be able to find them for around $700. Be careful of the $400 ones you see on E bay, the quality is very shoddy on them and they aren't a nice blue/purple color.
