Purge Solenoid Valve?

Purge Solenoid Valve?
What is the screw for that is on top of the purge solenoid valve? A while ago while doing an oil change my idiot buddy adjusted the screw for some unknown reason. Not immediately after, maybe a month or two, I'm getting a CEL P0455 which I understand this part might have something to do with it. Where should it be set and could this be the reason for the CEL?
