protege's: a family thing

I would feel quite embarrassed telling my friends this one but, I have started a trend within my family. I have a 99 still and my turboed 2003. Well now my mom has bought a New 2003 LX which is within 2 weeks of my purchase, my sister has a 2003 ES on order and my aunt and uncle bought a nice 2001 MP3. I believe I've started a trend within my family. Oh well, I guess Mazda owes me a thank you? haha

Same here, two 99's, one a DX and the other an LX and a 94 DX. Plus previous to the Proteges we had a 323 station wagon all bought new.

Possible looking into a Protege 5 for 2004, got my fingers crossed.

After I got my 99 LX, my dad bought a 00 DX. His first Japanese car ever. He used to be a die hard "must buy American" type of guy and always bought Dodge's.....but my Protege sold him.

He later retured it though, because he's getting older and doesn't need a car to endanger himself in.

Well, he got to the point where'd he'd be driving 20 MPH on the highway and getting lost all the time. He's better off not driving....
