If by the back wheels turning slightly u mean that all four wheels turn when u are turning, that is false. Also, 100k miles is quite a bit. Im not sure how many miles these cars are capable of going but that is quite a bit of miles.

I'd look for a car with lower mileage, if you can afford it. If you can drive a stick, or are willing to learn, get a five speed.
Ask the dealer about the car's service history, ask them if the services are up-to date: coolant service, transmission, tune-up, timing belt, etc. Do the tires look new?
The car clearly has an exhaust system and may have an intake. Personally, I would not buy a car that had been modified by somebody else unless I knew them, or they could provide receipts and proof of routine maintanence. Just my opinions.

Go for it. Good car reliability-wise. I recommend it to friends....

see this is weird because i also posted this in another forum in which they said the wheels do turn slightly except when you burnout or any extreme manuevering.

That's complete bullshit, no protege has 4 wheel steering.

Get the P5! They are great cars man, I couldn't be happier with mine (unless it was fast)

with 100K you want to make sure the timing belt and water pump were done...i'd have my mechanic go over it to check for anu other items also...what is the general condition of the car, how does it drive, weird nosies?
generaly speaking these are very road worthy cars and should go 200k with some maintanence...one owner is good...see if you can find out whi the owner was and talk to him/her....with that aftermarket intake, it indicates that the owner was modifing the car...not always a good sign if they didn't know what they were doing...how much are they asking??? with 100K i'd say between 7 and 8K???
