Mate thats what octane is for. thats all it gets now anyway nulon pro strength. Anyway I've done a little more homework and it looks like maybe and i mean maybe if throwing in a j-spec ecu ill have to do either ignition coils or injectors and fuel pump... i cant remember which one, i've asked a lot of crap lately i got it written down somewhere but either way its not gonna be that much for either.

on frosty's ride he has fitted a fuel pressure regulator..which allows him to flow more fuel through the injectors...not the capacity..simply the factory settings for economy can be bumped up..am i making sense?...it depends on how much work u want to do to the engine though.

no only frosty has these mods as far as i know...my guess is he's running low to high 16's...but thas just a guesstimate..according to him he had the car dynoed and it put out 91kw atw..however he thinks this to be closer to 80-85kw atw...which in anyones books is a hell of alot better than the 55.5kw atw i pulled with a cat-back exhaust...hopefully ill be getting the unifilter rampod..which frosty helped to develop..

you know for something with as much weight as a SSS and more power than one, I'm not too impressed with it's times. It should be well into the 15s by now. Trust me, I know about SSS. I get flogged by SSS (At the moment ). My mates got one of the last ones made, a 2000 model. It pulls a 16.1 day or night, he hasnt modified it in anyway, i dont think he can (getting married). I've draged him a few times and he's always 2 cars in front. I'll get him one day.

So as you can see, either your mate is modest with his cars performance or he's doing something wrong.

Korr,

What's the weather like down there? Always wanted to visit Australia, maybe one day. It is about -1 C here in arlington.

Mate try 27 degrees at night pretty nuch all year round. I dont have four seasons where i live. just wet and dry season. Both are friggen hotand more humid than you could ever imagine. But you get used to it after a while........ like 23 years.......

Thats why people up here with turbos really get ticked off sometimes..... turbos dont like it up here. Thats why a lot of people dont do up cars, at least engine wise..... they cant understand that turbo cars are the ones to watch out for not na cars....... Mate does't matter. I'll be the fastest one in my league.....
