No Problems @ 16K Miles

Purchased new P-5 on 9-02. Have racked up 16 thousand trouble free miles. Maintenance = 3 oil changes (Mobil 1) . I'd have thought the mileage would be better. Averages around 24 (automatic)

Then I'd say you'd get better mileage with an automatic.

31.6 highway
28.7 city

Us 5-speeders may have lower gas mileage only because it's so much easier (and fun) to redline in the 5-speed.

Perhaps but my 6000rpm in 1st gear doesn't sound like the car has fun.

Slap on an intake & exhaust and the sound will be a bit more enthusiastic

Be sure to install them in the proper designated area, too.

I just had my first problem

I blew out a headlight bulb at 21,000 miles

At this same mileage my last car started spilling coolant and the driver's seat broke. Darn Chevy Crapaliers
