Well, I hate to bring back an old thread, but I thought I would share.

While Adventon's prices may be cheap, be prepared to wait if you order from them. I ordered something from them on Tuesday, and as of today, I haven't heard anything. They don't respond to e-mails, and they don't answer phones. I checked my credit card statement online, and they haven't billed me yet. Looks like they're just really sloooooow.

No wonder their prices are so cheap, they don't have anyone working! Anyone else order from them and have a similar experience?

Well, I tried to warn people to be cautious! If a company doesnt have any kind of reviews, or customer feedback on ANY kind of site, then they are bad news. Hopefully you will get your order eventually. Did they charge your credit card yet?

I would stay away from them. I did a search on google for "Adventon.com review" and "Adventon.com ratings", nothing useful came up. www.resellerratings.com and www.bizrate.com doesnt have anything on them either.
I am a BIG online shopper, and doing research is VERY important. There are a ton of shady websites out there. BUYER BEWARE! or better yet RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BUY!!

I checked them out with the Better Business Bureau before ordering (www.bbb.org), and they didn't have any complaints. They haven't charged my credit card yet, so I'm thinking they're just really slow.

There were a few people on here who mentioned they've bought from them, I was hoping to hear what they had to say about them.

I ordered my intake and in 3 days I had it in my hands. I would have had it in 2, but UPS won't leave the package without a signature. I called them on the phone and ordered the old fashioned way- from a person. I even went ahead and told the guy that the reason I called is to make sure they are legit. the guy told me that the vw heads order a lot from them and refered me to vw vortex- a vw list I assume to check out some feedback about them. I have no regrets.

When I bought my AEM intake from them they told me I would get it in ten days. It came on the tenth day.

They billed my credit card, and it's dated the seventeenth. I'm hoping that's when it shipped.

Did they send you any e-mail notice when they shipped it? They told me ten days as well, but I was hoping for a tracking number or at least a notice so I'd know approximately when it would arrive.

Thanks for your responses.

I bet they are just on backorder. You should call and ask.

Although I said I'd order from them when I was getting my AEM, I didn't. The only reason I didn't was because the last step in the process of ordering said that at any time, the part you purchase may be USED. So I said, screw that, and got a guaranteed NEW Blue AEM (matches my blue MP3) intake from Mitch over at Protege5Online for $200 shipped. I'm glad I got it there instead .

I found a good one

I saw this one in a car audio mag HTTP://WWW.IMPORTSTYLEZ.COM
I check it out cause it said in the add 125$USD for coilovers, but the cheapest ones I saw where 399$, that still pretty good though.

Finally received my Injen intake from Adventon today, 10 days after I ordered it. Everything was factory sealed, so it wasn't used (that was my main concern). I got a pretty good deal ($219 shipped), so I guess I can't be too upset.

In the end, I probably wouldn't recommend them. But if you do order from them, just don't expect customer srevice.
