Newbie, Hi All

Hello everyone,
Long time Mazda owner, short time Protege owner. I picked up an emerald mica 03 DX yesterday after I got fustrated with my 323.

Don't get me wrong, the 91 323 was fun. It has 170k on it, mostly all original parts, and it surprisingly beats the hell out of almost anything on the road. (I only remember a corvette and a VW 6 turbo outrunning me. Oh ya, and my friend's new WRX- He street races and was amazed at how well I kept up.) My favorite hobby was cutting off losers in their hondas.

Anyways, this is my first brand new car, I hope to have it for a long time. I don't plan on being as much as a lead foot anymore because I love my baby. I don't plan on any mods in the near future, but I want to hit up some Protege meets in the area and see what options I have.

My only need is seat covers because I like to take my dog out hiking. I already found great info on these boards, so Thanks. Hello, & Hope to see you around!

hi bryan and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Thumbs up

Thanks all. Just got in from wiping my baby. I was the victim of a fly-by shooting last night. Dang birds!

Oh, and I'll help keep that fridge stocked- one of my main passions is brewing my own beer: Brew Journal

Welcome welcome! Fly-by bird shootings is something that I'm too familiar with. Just today, I got assaulted when I dropped somebody off on the way to work.

Bird crap acid eating into my clear coat? Not today! Mighty "Meguire's Quick Wash & Wax" to the rescue. Spray spray, wipe wipe, spray, wipe and no bird crap on my car!

Actually, I would've bought Eagle One "Wipe and Shine" if I could find it.. but looks like the Meguire's stuff does the same job...

Yep, I'm going to foxboro unless something a lot better comes up.

I even got my friend to buy a protege (5) which he picked up yesterday, so we're probably both going to go.
