Question Newb price question on PR5

What's up all??? I just found this forum and it is totally sweet!!! Anyways...I just got a 2003 yellow PR5 for about $18,000 with everything on it (leather seats, moonroof, polished wheels, 6 disc and a bunch of other things that I haven't found out yet.) Love the car! I have done some research on the price. Did I get a good deal on this car??? What did you guys pay for your rides???

Sup, Snacks. Welcome to the club!
18k sounds about right for a loaded P5.
I paid $16,500 for my 2002 P5, but that was right after 9/11 and they were offering all kinds of incentives. Also, my wheels weren't polished, and I have cloth seats.
Nice car!!

Sup Egg....thanks for the info....does Mazda usually shell out any good incentives??? For me.... they offered $1750 cash back, which I took and thought was great, but I was looking forward to a low APR.

yah a tad under 16500 on mine too and 0%apr for 36months.
mine is a bone stock base model 5MT. already put in an after
market alarm, eibach springs, wheels, pedals, etc.

pro5's are a great package.

I just bought a brand new P5 a couple weeks ago that has leather seats, abs, side airbags, AT, moonroof, 6 cd changer and polished wheels for $16,300. It is a very good time to buy a car.

That is an awesome deal Pheaven...I visited edmunds.com and they say that we should be paying about $17500 for a loaded P5...so I guess you scored big time.

Some local dealer was offering the P5 at $4000 off MSRP. As it turned out it was about a $1000 under dealer invoice. I can't complain. As it turned out they had the exact color and options I wanted.

My other car is a 03 Infinity G35. I find myself driving the P5 a lot more than the G. Mazda makes a great car!

yah, the g35's a cool car and all but doesnt have the fun
factor as the pro5's... even the coupe too unless you get the 6MT
version its not all that exciting...

i use the pro5 during the week and drive a modded wrx on
the weekends. even after playing with the wrx for several
hours i still enjoy driving around the pro5 cause its so
much fun with so little to think about. the 5MT is so easy to
drive on this car it almost feels like im cheating.

im getting a rear swaybar for the pro5 soon so that'll add
another icing on the cake. hope to get the lip this
week for it too...

Hey Snacks and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

considering the equipment you got on the ride...you did just fine on your deal.
