Hi all, first timer here looking to get a new Mazda3. What I am looking at is:
2012 hatchback
i Grand Touring trim
Technology package

The first dealer quote I got back was for a Graphite Mica, the price is $22999 (includes transportation and ad fees)

I've looked at Edmunds, TrueCar, etc but I find their prices are usually high, so what do the "real owners" think - is that a good deal?

Supply and demand in your area also has a huge influence on the price. I tried to get a speed 3 when I bought my s touring and they would not give any discount because the speed 3 doesn't stay on the show room floor down here for more than a week or so.

I guess the demand isn't too great. I went and talked to the dealer yesterday and before I even started negotiating he dropped the price again - to $22649.

Now to see if other dealers will beat that...
