New member here!

Just want to say hello and tell you guys what I have

2002 Protege5...Just got it last month dirt cheap! But has lots of miles

Things I've done:
K&N stock filter with the front opening cut (found the idea on another site).
DIY shift boot from scrap leather (mom in-law sewed it for me).
MX6 rear strut tower bar (ebay special).
New Tires (stock rims).

Plan to install over the weekend:
New Tokico Blue Shocks.
Used MSP Stock Springs.

Anyway, I just installed the MX6 rear STB and it's an exact fit! I'll see if I can post pictures on how it looks...I can't see myself paying over $100 on this.

WiL

Try not to pay attention to the mess, here's the STB w/o the plastic molding...There's a bracket that holds the seatbelt up, I don't think you really need it because the seat does that for you...BUT, for safety I'm going to cut the bracket to allow the bar to run through.

Here's the bracket (one side) that I'll be cutting, it won't be much to cut, so I think it should be ok.

External pics? It's your typical stock Protege5 w/tint in the rear windows & too many door dings
